History of Patriot Carpet

Patriot has been serving the Colorado Springs area since 1985.  We are a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned Small Business.  The Patriot name reflects the military influence within our work culture and the Colorado Springs community.

We (owners Dale and Kate) have dedicated most of our lives in service to others.  Kate is a retired Registered Nurse of 32 years.  Dale retired after a combined 29 years in the US Navy and US Air Force, and worked another 11 years as a Government contractor for the Air Force.  Mike, our youngest son, served in the US Marine Corps during the Iraq War.  Our oldest son and grandson were also Marines.  Dale’s father was a World War II veteran.  Due to our family’s strong history of military Service, Patriot is a friend to our fellow veterans. Many of our dedicated employees are veterans, retired military, or grew up in military families.  We believe veterans bring ethics gained from their military experience to the business. You can depend on Patriot for honesty, integrity, reliability, and consistent quality.
